This project took the better half of a few days. The dragon itself was sculpted using proceline clay directly onto a miniature canvas, I then painted the dragon, then I began using scraps of white fabric glued around it to give the illusion of ‘ripping through’ before painting the scraps and all around the dragon black. Finally I took a sort of burlap-ish brown fabric, made a tattered hole and pulled it over the whole thing, taping it closed in the back. All in all I had a lot of fun working on this, everything on the dragon was hand-sculpted by the way, including those teeth (oh lord were those a pain to get right).
